We had such a great time celebrating Zane’s 2nd birthday party a week or so ago – and I took WAY TOO MANY pictures – I am going to break up the posts over the next few days!! SO here is the first round!!
I made little tutu’s for all the little girls, which ended up being 12 in attendance. All the little girls looked SO CUTE in their little tutus!! This tutorial really helped me on how to make the tutu’s – they are really pretty easy to make!!
The first activity was a craft!!! We made simple stained glass – an activity suitable for the entire age range of little ones that we had in attendance.
I have a tutorial posting later this week for a craft camp and I will share the link with you when that posts, but for now, you can at least see some of the finished product!! They all took their little crafts home – and hopefully they are all hanging in a window somewhere catching this beautiful Seattle sun we have been having!
Then it was time to head outside and spend some time playing!!
I wanted to create a fun place for the kids to play outside and knew right away when I saw this teepee on one of my favorite blogs Mamma. Pappa. Bubba. so I tried to recreate that space in our backyard!
Playing in the yard wouldn’t not be complete without a few sparkly ribbon wands, right? Now, I did NOT make these. I found them at the dollar store. Unfortunately, they held up about as well as you think a dollar store ribbon band would in the hands of a preschool girl!
Lots more pictures tomorrow – presents, cake & we try to get all of the girls in one picture at the same time
